LG G-Slate was the first 3D Android Tablet to hit the markets. LG giving back an answer to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 launched G-SLATE at CES earlier this year. The Droid Tablets Verdict : Although the Sales figure haven’t been much, we love the concept of these 3D tablets . The pricing is also apt and we are damn sure that the BIGGIES like Samsung, Toshiba ,Apple and Google ( Do have a look at it’s Nexus 7 ) would be coming up with 3D Android Tablets and would be pricing it at a much higher price. (Brand Matters, isn’t it? )

Google has decided to kill 8GB model and come up only with 16GB and 32 GB models in India. Also, Google has announced a 3G Nexus 7 tablet but still hasn’t commented anything on it’s availability in India.

Where to Buy Google Nexus 7 in India?

The BIG question is that now, Google Nexus 7 is officially launched, where Can I buy one?

Indiatimes is unofficially selling a 8GB Variant in India for a price tag of 16,808 INR ( out of stock at the moment ) and Home Shop 18  (not recommended for buying from this site ) selling the same 8GB Variant for 17,884 INR . Although officially launches, we were seeing the orders being taken by Croma online on their website but now the page seems to have taken off. ( We still await a response from Croma ) . But still, keep a look on Croma Store for buying Nexus 7 in India.

The availability is still less and the demand is phenomenol. The tablets haven’t hit the local markets also as of yet. Ebay does have lot of sellers selling Nexus 7 but wait for 10-20 days would be worth it as Nexus 7 would officially be available in Stores offline as well as online.

Steps to Receive Free Calls on Android Tablets including Nexus 7

1. First of all, you need to setup a VoIP account with Callcentric.com. Then you need to set up an account on ipkall.com that enables you to receive free VoIP calls.
2. Download the CSipSimple app from Google Play. Set up this app with your Callcentric account, that you created in first step. Keep note that your our username is your contact number on Callcentric.
3. Add a new number to your Google Voice account by going to settings tab in it. Here add the number that you got from ipkall.com.

1. Download the Voice+ from Google Play and set it up with your Google Voice account.
2. Now download ExDialer from Google Play which will enable you to enter the number, you wish to call.
3. Download the FrameworkFlasher-MOD.zip and extract it. You can download it from here.
4. From the extracted folder, find the file named framework-res.apk (use any file explorer for it). Copy this file and paste it in place-framework-res-here folder( that you extracted just now).
5. Double click on run me and decompile your framework-res.
6. You will find an APK file under ‘files-to-edit’ folder. Click on framework-res.apk>res>values and open up the bools.xml file.
7. Find out the file that says false and change the false to true. Now save this file. You’re almost on half way to make calls on nexus 7 .
8. Launch run me again and this time choose option 2 to compile a new APK.
9. Choose option 3 to sign the APK.
10. Choose option 4 so as to create an update.zip file.
11. Transfer this file to SD card of your Nexus 7.
12. Reboot your Nexus 7 into ClockworkMod recovery.
13. Navigate to install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > update.zip.
14. Choose the  reboot system now.

This will enable you to make free calls on nexus 7 and talk to your dear ones.
